As her fundraising challenge, Charlee had planned to take on a Go Ape Tree Top Challenge alongside her DofE programme Gold Award. But when covid-19 struck, she had to come up with a new plan to raise money for the DofE.  

“I have met some really great people and learnt some invaluable?skills and had some fantastic experiences?from completing my Silver Award and doing my Gold. Raising money for the charity is important to me as I want to give other people the same life-changing opportunities that I have been lucky enough to have experienced” 

Charlee decided to read 10 books in 10 days and hit her fundraising target. She enjoyed reading true crime books as she did criminology and sociology?at A Level and is currently studying policing at university.
