Gold Award holder Jess turned her stairs into a mountain and climbed them 2,600 times – the same distance as Everest!

"I have achieved my DofE Gold Award and since have become a Young Speaker for the DofE. As a Young Speaker I attend events, talking about my experiences and trying to encourage the next generation of young people to take part. The DofE is such a special charity to me and has shaped me as the person I am today. I am much more confident, resilient and open to new challenges. I took on a challenge to raise money to fund other young people to begin their journey with the DofE."
