Your fundraising page includes your distance travelled, so you can keep track as you progress towards your personal target.
Your personal target also contributes to our collective target of 17,000km and travelling the length of the UK. You can choose to log your distance by linking to your fundraising page or manually count your kilometers and record them on your profile.
Track your distance automatically
Download the Strava, FitBit or MapMyFitness app and set up your account.
Log into Virtual DofE Adventure and select ‘Log My Fitness Activity’ on your dashboard.
Under the heading ‘connect your preferred Fitness app’, click your chosen app.
Follow the prompts to connect your account.
When you next work out, select ‘start your workout’ in the app on your phone. Once you end your workout, save your workout and your distance will be published to the tally on your page the following day (please allow 24 hours).
Track your distance manually
You can manually add your your distance in the “Log My Fitness Activity” tab of your fundraiser dashboard.
This is a great option if you’re using a pedometer or a different method of tracking your distance.
Log in to your account and select ‘Log My Fitness Activity’.
Under ‘Add activity’, enter the date and distance.
The distance added will now appear on your fundraising page!
