Standing on top on a 1940's biplane you'll feel freedom and excitment as you fly through the air while taking in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside with with DofE squad cheering you on from below.

Under the expert guidance of AerobaticSuperbatics you'll get to experience a different kind of flying travelling at speeds of up to 140 mph while standing on top of the wings of a beautiful 1940's Boeing bi-plane, all at 800ft up in the air.  This really is the experience of a liftime.
This is a full day experience, your welcome to bring friend and family along with you to help cheer you on, you can even bring the dog as well!  Snacks and refreshments will be provided.  For the actual wing walk you'll be in the air for approx. 10 minutes.

On the day you'll be joined by other DofE supporters as well as supporters of other charities who'll all come together to create a day and experience that you'll never forget!

There's no registration fee to take part but there is a requirement to raise a minimum of £1000  for the DofE charity (excluding Gift Aid) which must be raised before the date of the wing walk (23 July 2026).

As we celebrate 70 years of the DofE we're fundraising to support the next generation of young people at a time when they need it most.  Sign up to our Wing Walk Challenge and help ensure that no young person is prevented from doing thier DofE due to financial barriers.

Conditions:

You must be aged 18 or over to take part (there's no upper age limit!), be no taller than 6ft 2in and be no heavier than 14 stone.  You also need to have a waist measurement while wearing warm clothes and a jacket of no more than 40 inches for the safety harness.

Due to nature of this challenge you need to physically fit enough to fly and be able to climb unassisted onto the wing of the plane.
