Why DofE
Following collecting Harry’s Gold DofE award we wanted to give something back. We are walking in Windsor on 11th July, for the 70th anniversary of DofE. It was meant to be 20 Miles around the castle however the temperature forecast is 31° so changed to 10 miles! The life skills, resilience, perseverance, teamwork and given back to your community are just some of the things you gain from doing Duke of Edinburgh. The COVID-19 pandemic has left the UK’s youth facing more challenges than ever. As young people come out of lockdown, the DofE offers any and every young person the chance to build life-long skills and belief regardless of ability, interest or background. To feel able to do anything, achieve anything and overcome anything life throws their way, whatever their circumstance. We're raising funds for the DofE to help transform the lives of even more young people.
