I’m fundraising for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
I'm taking part in the UK Power Networks Royal Ramble on Friday 5th June. We will be walking 20 miles through London to raise vital funds for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award charity. All the money I raise will go towards helping to transform the lives of young people ensuring that no young person misses out on the opportunity to participate in the life-changing Awards and is able to reach their full potential. Monday 1st Jun Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to check out this page and sponsor me. I am now within the top 50 of those within UKPN who have raised the most funds for the Royal Ramble!
Walk update (Mid Week 5)
Friday 22nd May
Target upgrade
Monday 18th May So, seeing as so many of you have been amazing and helped me to hit the minimum target in order to attend the walk, i've decided to change the target goal post. I have upped my target to £423. This (at present) will place me within the top 5 highest sponsored walkers in UKPN for the Royal Ramble. It's a big jump but I think could be achievable....! Week 4
Monday 18th May So that's week 4 completed. Very busy week with the final rehearsals and performances of Flarepath taking up every day and all day saturday. Managed to get a 5 mile in on Thursday but not much else than that.
Week 3 Completed
Monday 11th May So week 3 is now completed, 3(ish) walks, totalling 22.23 miles.

Status Update
Wednesday 22nd Apr So following on from my first walk on Sunday (6 miles) and my first of this week (3 miles) I have realised the importance of blister prevention and the value of blister plasters; new supplies have been purchased! Still looking to complete walk two this afternoon but will see how we get on in regards to the distance covered! Also hoping to introduce a backpack with water storage today so I can get used to carrying it around for the longer walks (assuming the water storage gets delivered in time!). Lets see how things go!
