And so the final day has been and gone. Throughout April I have managed to walk 163 miles and raised over £250. Thank you everyone who has sponsored me and helped raise money to give others the opportunities some of us take for granted. ❤️💜Thank you again, it's much appreciated, Alyssa x 🚶

Scenic streets of London

Avoiding the marathon and Wembley crowds, walking instead of taking the bus to class. Nice way to add another mile and a half.

Into the last week!

I've not been very well the last few days so walking has been limited. I am currently on 126 miles with one week left to go! Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me, it's much appreciated and in total they have raised over £8,600 for the cause. If anyone who like to still sponsor, every little helps 😃

West bay cliffs

Half way through the month and we take a wander past the west bay cliff. What a beautiful part of the world the Jurassic coast is.

The dog is getting his steps in. Not quite the canals of Amsterdam but less of the distinctive smell! Let's see how many miles I can do in April ☺️

So putting in my actual stride 2000 of my steps is approximately 1 mile so I have actually done 104 miles!

So on my walk today we have realised that I am not 2ft4 so my step count hasn't generated the correct mileage.. I have been walking over 16000 steps most days and it was showing as 3 miles. My mum needs to go back to school!

Saturday 13th Apr
So it's been a bit harder this week to get the miles in with being back at school and after school activities. Time to polish up the walking boots and get some good miles in over the weekends. 33 miles down 62 to go! Next milestone is in 2 miles!

So, while I have a free evening my trusted pooch and I have had a lovely stroll along the canal ( alongside a not so lovely game of chase when he slipped his lead!) The rain held off for the hour and half we were out and we managed to take our daily total up to 3 miles 😃 I have now past the 25 mile mark and the virtual place I have reached is Durdle Door! Stunning!

Weekly update.

Saturday 6th Apr
So as you can see, I haven't included the 8 miles I walked last Saturday as it was the 31st March but have averaged 3 to 4 miles a day whilst away. Lots of dog walking over the next few weeks 😁. Thank you again for all of your support ❣️

Back in Blighty!

So I maybe back in English soil but continuing the walk with a nice stroll around the old Walls of Southampton.

Today's backdrop is the gorgeous Bruges. I have got a step tracker so I can keep count. I will upload the photos at the end of each week 😁

Start my walk off with quite a few laps of the promenade deck, rain or shine! Also had a stroll around the tulip gardens in Netherlands and the DOM festival in Hamburg.
