I’m fundraising for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
I'm taking part in the UK Power Networks Royal Ramble, walking 20 miles through central London to raise vital funds for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award charity. All the money I raise will go towards helping to transform the lives of young people ensuring that no young person misses out on the opportunity to participate in the life-changing Awards and is able to reach thier full potential. Practice Walk 11th May 2025
Tuesday 13th MayI did a practice walk on Sunday – Horam and back from my house which was about 10 miles. My daughter came along on her bike to give me some encouragement. It was like the scene from Run Fat Boy Run, but without the paddle (if you have seen the film).
Spent the afternoon shopping for proper walking shoes and blister plasters, but my determination is unwavering.
