On Sunday 12 April, I'll be running in the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise vital funds for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award charity, helping to transform the lives of young people. For many 14-25 years the DofE is a life-changing experience but many marginalised young people who would benefit the most are most likely to miss out. I'm supporting the DofE charity so that they can continue to keep opening up this life-changing experince to the young people who would benefit the most. London Half Marathon for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
Friday 16th JanI’m running the London Half Marathon in support of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, a charity that’s really close to my heart. I help run DofE at work and get to see first-hand the incredible impact it has on students — from those who’ve never camped before to those who end up absolutely loving the outdoors. It genuinely changes mindsets, builds confidence, and pushes young people to achieve more than they thought possible.
Taking on 13.1 miles is my way of giving back and supporting a programme that does so much good. If you’re able to sponsor me, any donation (big or small) would be hugely appreciated and will help support more young people through their DofE journey.
