K2 Base Camp Trek

This summer myself and 3 friends are embarking on a 13 day trek to the base camp of K2 (17,000ft) and the Gondogoro La Pass (18,700ft). Since I'm in my 70th year and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award is also celebrating it's 70th anniversary I have decided to raise money for the DofE charity.   Every pound raised will go towards ensuring that more young people, including those who are facing financial barriers or require additional support, can participate in the life-changing DofE awards, building their resilience, confidence and skills required to take on life's toughest challenges.
