With only a couple days away from the event, I couldn’t be more excited to take on the wing walk challenge. Without this opportunity from the DofE, I don’t think I could of ever imagined to take part in such a challenge. 

Special thank you to everyone that has donated, it means a lot as a young person that there is so much support for such a good cause and how it strengthens my passion to fundraise and volunteer.

I am really excited and cannot wait to be able to take part (and face a slight fear!) this July by standing atop of a flying biplane for such a good cause! 

As a UK Youth Ambassador for DofE, and an ex-gold award participant, it's hard to deny that it's in my DNA to be a youth without limits and push myself out my comfort zone to the max whilst taking any opportunity with both hands!

What I'm really looking forward to on this journey is volunteering to raise as many donations as possible -  which was my favourite memory from my Gold experience and my time as an Ambassador. 

During COVID times, I decided to combine my lifelong love for sports with volunteering and create my own delivery business on my bike. I would deliver essentials to those most vulnerable in my community and raise donations for NHS Charities Together. 

This curiosity for creative ways to better opportunities for others and see how far I can learn to be comfortable being uncomfortable is the essence of taking on the Wing Walk Challenge!

I hope you can join me in helping reach the goal of £500 to change so many lives of the youth the same way it did for me :)
