I never expected to take on another long-distance challenge, having promised myself I wouldn’t attempt anything close to a marathon again after a long‑term injury. However, this one is 20 miles, so I’ve decided to give it a try, wanting to attempt a run.

On Friday 5th June, I’ll be taking part in the UK Power Networks Royal Ramble, walking 20 miles through London to raise vital funds for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award charity. The money raised helps support young people by ensuring they have the opportunity to take part in the life‑changing Award and reach their full potential.
