A delayed start....

Hunting Dinosaurs

Friday 15th Mar It's almost 8 years since I walked 60km of the Causeway Coastal Path and Rathlin Island as part of the DoE Diamond Challenge - my first long distance walk over 4 days. This year I'm joining with a friend to take part in the DoE Virtual Challenge to walk 95 miles during April along the Jurassic Coastal Path. It would be lovely to be actually walking it, but for now I'm happy to be doing it virtually. So many young folk benefit from having completed the DoE Awards. By fundraising I hope to help so many more young people experience the ups and downs, and challenges that the DoE opens up for them. If you'd like to donate to this wonderful scheme that would be fantastic, but I know that times are difficult financially for so many so don't feel obliged... just enjoy my virtual challenge.... roll on April fools day!  Share
