DofE Wing Walk 2023
On the 27th July I am undertaking the slightly daunting challenge of standing on the wings of a biplane as it flies through the skies of Gloucestershire in order to raise money on behalf of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award!
As a DofE Leader and Ambassador with the RAF Air Cadets I know first hand the difference this charity can make to the lives of young people as they learn new skills, gain experience, and gain confidence to succeed and become successful young adults. Undertaking the Duke of Edinburgh Award with the Air Cadets as a shy teenager who lacked confidence was a huge life experience for me, and was a turning point that helped make me the person I am today.
