I'm taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon to support The DofE charity

As a part of the RAF air cadets I have had the amazing opportunity to compete all three of the the Duke of Edinburgh Awards. From simple fields in Orpington for bronze to canoeing across the river Medway at silver and finally Eryi National park for gold.

Doing DofE has really fuelled my love for the outdoors, my next steps is to even do lowlands leader and Mountain leader as soon as I can. 

Whether you do it with school or an external club and whatever level you get to it really gives all young people the opportunity to challenge themselves, go out of their comfort zones and go above and beyond. I really would recommend it again and again, so that more young people gain a new sense of achievement and confidence.
