My Updates

I did it!
Sunday 30th Mar Happy Mother’s Day to me! My aim for this month was to prove to myself that if I put my mind to something even with juggling work, a toddler and everything else that I could do it! I am so proud to have achieved 120 miles this month and overcome challenges along the way. Thanks in particular to my husband for supporting me, I am now going to go and enjoy some pancakes! Share
Sometimes things don’t go to plan but we adapt!

Getting over winter bugs!
Sunday 16th Mar After a nearly a week of flu and sickness in our household I finally felt well enough to hop on my peleton bike this morning and do 8 miles! Share
Just a few miles the last few days
Saturday 8th Mar With my toddler (Mavis) a bit unwell I haven’t been able to do as much, but managed a lovely mile and a bit walk today to get her some fresh air with my dog and our neighbours dog! She just wants to watch tv and rest so will get on the peleton to keep up my miles whilst I can’t get out as much! This challenge is really helping me even if these mad parent moments remember to stay active! Share
Peloton ride
Tuesday 4th Mar With over three big walks over the last few days I did some big stretching this morning followed by 4.6 miles on my Peloton! Share
First weekend of walks!
Monday 3rd Mar This weekend I started off with a 3 mile walk in Alice Holt Forest! So lovely to be in the woods, even though I did get lost a bit! Then topped up my miles by walking around a local park when we were visiting friends in Essex! Then on Sunday we started the day with a big walk around Farnham park and my daughter and husband walked part of the way, before staying put at the swings! Sullivan (my dog) is absolutely loving all this time outside! Share
Getting ready!

Annoucement I am doing the challenge!
Monday 17th Feb
I started at the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award charity just over two months ago now and what can I say the work they are doing to support, empower and make crucial change for young people across the UK is incredible.
I want to get involved, so this March I will be taking on the Do it 4 Youth 120 Mile Challenge! I hope you will cheer me on as I walk 120 miles throughout March, and for someone who has a toddler at home this will be no easy feat! But I am determined to get active and get outdoors, I am sure my dog will also love the adventure!
I hope you will follow along with my story and support me as I try and raise £200 for the DofE. I believe young people are the future and if I can help them in anyway I will.
