My Updates

Last day!
Monday 31st Mar So with 16 miles to go, it's a bit of a grim last day task to get those last miles done and dusted. Plan is to get out lunchtime (work permitting) and blast out a 5km walk (3 miles) and then cycle the rest after work tonight. I don't want to continue into April, so just gotta get it done! I am inching ever closer to my £100 target please consider sponsoring me and make this heel pain worthwhile! LOL :) Share
Nearly there...!
Wednesday 26th Mar Now down to the final 35 miles having cranked out 5 miles at lunchtime today. Foot feels okay, has definitely improved overall and piriformis discomfort all but gone - I can still feel it if I twist a certain way so keeping on with the exercises. I am in Margate this weekend with my bro so lots of opportunity for coastal walking to get those final miles in.As usual if you've followed my adventures with idle enthusiasm, a modicum of interest, a vague almost non-existent nod of approval or a slight tilt of an eyebrow then please consider donating to this very worthwhile cause. Thank ye kindly :)

10 Days of Walking!
Monday 10th Mar Well, 10 days into March and all 10 days have logged a walk, sometimes a small jaunt to get some miles in, others like today where I've deliberately gone about making a dent in the total remaining. Tempting to jump on the bike and bash out the remaining miles, but I am sticking to my guns and walking the entire distance! Now I'm on top of the piriformis issues, walking is a lot easier/stronger, just mindful of not to overdue it with my left foot still painful in the mornings. :) Share
Well done, Keith!
