I’m fundraising for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
For more than six decades, the DofE has empowered young people to develop skills for work and life, to become more confident and resilient, to make new friends and give back to others. The DofE was set up to support young people as nations rebuilt and reinvented themselves in the decade after the second world war. Now, the world is about to do the same again following the coronavirus pandemic. The charity has predicted a £5 million deficit this year as a result of Covid-19 so I’m taking on the virtual DofE Adventure to transform the prospects of the COVID generation and support the DofE at a crucial time. With hundreds of thousands of young people doing their DofE across the UK, the charity has a critical role to play in this crisis and beyond; to be there for young people who need it most when they need us most. There has never been a more important time to support young people in the UK.

Cat Bells and 30 km accomplished
Sunday 23rd Aug Had a great day walking/hiking/climbing yesterday. 13 km in total taking me past my 30 km target. Cat Bells was a great experience, can't wait to do the next one. I have almost reached my £300 sponsorship target, so if you havn't sponsored me yet, then please click the link below. Thanks, every penny will help young people through the Duke of Edinburgh Foundation Share
Through the halfway mark, Keswick, Cumbria
Saturday 22nd Aug The weather kept us off the mountains yesterday, but still had a fantastic day walking round Derwentwater. Beautiful scenery and saw a great water fall as well. Covered 17.3 km, so more than half my target. Will do the rest today, looks like the waterproofs will be useful today. Also had £ 239 sponsorship, thank you so much to all that sponsored me. Will upload some pictures. Thanks Kris Share
Walking around Keswick, Cumbria for the Duke of Edinburgh Charity :-)
Thursday 20th Aug I will be walking at least 30K, hopefully on Catbells, Skiddaw and around Derwentwater in Cumbria. I am hoping to raise at least £ 300 to support the Duke of Edinburgh Foundation to help them continue all the good work they do. I will upload pictures so you can see my progress, so please help and sponsor me if you can. Tks Kris ShareThank you to my Sponsors
