I'm taking on the Inuvik Weekend Warrior Fat Bike Challenge to raise funds for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award charity

Forty years since I went on my first expedition as part of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE), I'm taking on another adventure to raise money to help fund young people who might otherwise miss out on the life-changing benefits of DofE. 

It's going to be an epic challenge; I am attempting to cycle 300 miles in 3 days in snow and ice in the Arctic Circle in temperatures which could be as low at minus 30C!

Taking part in DofE all those years ago gave me a life-long love of being outdoors and I am hoping that by doing this expedition I can help raise funds for young people who might not be able to afford to take part and would otherwise miss out on the opportunity to build confidence, resilience and skills for the future.
