My Updates
The Last Day!
Sunday 21st Apr Today I completed a seven mile walk which marked the end of my challenge. It was a lovely, sunny walk around Cardinham woods. Thank you so much to everyone who's sponsored and supported me through this challenge, it really means a lot.Day Fourteen
Sunday 14th Apr Today I completed a 9 mile National Trust walk, meaning I only have ten miles left of the challenge. It's difficult to believe that I'm so close to finishing so soon. I've loved doing the challenge and it's for such a great cause.Day Thirteen
Saturday 13th Apr Today I completed an extra four miles, getting me to seventy-five miles in total. Only fifteen miles to go! It was a lovely though cloudy walk on the moors.Day Twelve
Friday 12th Apr After a few days of doing local walks, today I was able to get out to the seaside. It was a lovely, sunny day thankfully and I was able to get the mile counter to 71!Day Seven
Sunday 7th Apr Today I completed a five mile walk, reaching thirty nine in total and passing back another point on the challenge (Portland Bill Lighthouse)Day Six
Saturday 6th Apr Today I completed the perfect walk as it was both wonderfully flat and completely dry. I walked six miles and had a wonderful view of Dartmoor throughout.Day Four
Thursday 4th Apr Today I completed a seven mile walk, meaning I've reached a total of 23 miles so far (not bad for day four, I don't think.)Day Three
Wednesday 3rd Apr Today I completed a five mile walk around my local area. It was rather cold but thankfully didn't rain.Day Two
Tuesday 2nd Apr Today I completed an extra six miles for the challenge, taking a nice but rather dismal walk along the beach. Through completing eleven miles I have passed the second milestone of St Aldhelm's Chapel. ShareDay One
Monday 1st Apr I completed five miles on the first walk for this challenge. This means I've already passed the first checkpoint for the challenge - Swanage. Thank you so much for all of your support so far, despite it being the first day of the challenge I'm already close to completing the one hundred pound goal! Why I'm doing this
Monday 25th Mar I'm completing the Hike for Youth - Jurassic Coast Challenge to raise money for young people's mental health. I will be walking 95 miles on a virtual simulation of the Jurassic Coast, and aim to raise £100. The money will help go towards support for young people who have been negatively impacted through COVID-19, who are living in poverty, or who struggle with additional needs. I will be both walking and jogging the challenge, and plan on posting updates about how I will be doing. ShareThank you to my Sponsors
