Challenge by challenge, step by step… my 2026 journey continues with the DofE Trek Together – Windsor sponsored walk.

This challenge is particularly meaningful to me because, as a young person, I took part in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award expeditions. It was on those expeditions that I discovered my passion for the outdoors and long-distance walking a passion that has stayed with me ever since. Looking back, those experiences laid the foundation for a lifelong love of adventure, personal challenge and the natural world.

Today, I have the privilege of working with young people through the cadet forces, where I've seen first-hand how adventure, challenge and encouragement can build confidence, resilience and leadership. It's why I firmly believe every young person should have the opportunity to experience what the Duke of Edinburgh's Award has to offer.

By completing the 20 mile route through Windsor Great Park, I'll be helping to raise funds so that more young people including those facing financial barriers or who need additional support can access the same life-changing opportunities that inspired me all those years ago.
