I'm running my final and 10th marathon in 2026. I'm running the London Marathon in April 2026 to support and raise vital funds for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award. The money raised will go towards ensuring that more young people, including those facing financial and other barriers, have the opportunity to participate in the life-changing awards. The Final Marathon!
Monday 5th Jan This is it! The final marathon for me. I’m incredibly proud to say I’ve been selected by The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award to take part in the 2026 London Marathon.It’s going to be epic. I’ve completed 9 marathons and 1 virtual, but something inside me always knew I needed to hit that magic number: 10.
Thanks to the Duke of Edinburgh Award, I finally get to achieve this goal I’ve carried with me for years.
So here it is. My last marathon. One more chance to dig deep, push through and hopefully have a brilliant run on the big day. But even more importantly, I’m running to raise as much as I can for a cause that’s supported me and so many others.
We’ve fundraised before and we’ll do it again. Together, we’re going to absolutely smash this. Leave the training, the complaining and the full 26.2 miles on April 26th, 2026 to me.
