Hike for Youth - Jurassic Coast Virtual Challenge

Hi

I'm taking part in the Hike for Youth - Jurassic Coast Virtual Challenge to support the DofE.  Throughout the month of April I'll be walking 95 miles to help raise money to transform the lives of young people by providing access to The Duke of Edinburgh's Awards to those who would benefit the most.

Please support me by making a donation to my page.

Thank You.

My Updates

80miles done!!!!

Sunday 21st Apr
I can’t quite believe I’ve completed 80 miles!!! Highlights this week are Friday evening with Ceri-Ann and Carn Pica in Bannau brycheiniog. Stunning views made the steep climb worthwhile. Thank you to all my sponsors - it’s definitely keeping me going knowing I have your support!

Half way there! Week 2

Sunday 14th Apr
So we're two weeks in and I've done 58 miles - which is more than half of the route! Favourite walk this week was walking up the Kymin with Ruth B to meet the Guides and Rangers who were helping at a water station for the Kymin Dash (fit folk who run up the Kymin rather than walk it!! Hats off to you all).

Week 1 update

Sunday 7th Apr
So it's going well so far!! Being out supervising DofE teams this week has made it easier to get some miles in, and having other people to walk with helps the morale. We've done some canal paths, very muddy mountains and forest tracks. The weather has been less than pleasurable most of the time. Maybe this should be the 95 mile mud challenge.

Thank you to my Sponsors
