I’m fundraising for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

I'm running the Bath Half Marathon to help raise vital funds for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award charity (DofE). I was initially involved in DofE as a participant and have been a leader for over 28 years. In this time I have observed first hand the positive impact that taking part in DofE has on young people, especially those who find other aspects of school challenging. The money I raise will help to ensure that more young people, particularly those facing financial and other barriers, with the opportunity to take part in the life-changing Awards programme, building their confidence and resiliance.
