The Duke’s ambition when he founded the DofE in 1956 was to enrich young people’s lives. Since then, millions of young people in the UK and around the world have done their DofE – discovering new passions and vital skills, building their confidence, resilience and self-belief, making a positive difference in their communities, and having life-changing experiences.
The Living Legacy Fund
Please donate to mark Prince Philip’s inspiring impact on generations of young people, ensuring his lifetime’s achievement lives on.
After The Duke’s death in April 2021, the DofE charity launched the Living Legacy Fund in his memory to support its aim to reach a million young people by 2026. That work is well underway, with a focus on reaching those who face barriers to taking part, such as young people with additional needs, who live in deprived areas or who are in prison.
More than a year on from The Duke's death his legacy - the DofE - is needed more than ever. As young people navigate the challenges left by the pandemic, the DofE’s relevancy and the need to sustain the Duke's vision for young people has never been greater.
With your generous support, the DofE can continue to empower young people to discover new passions, equip them with vital life skills so they are ready to take on life’s challenges and fulfil their potential.
We will be forever grateful for your support and would be honoured to mark the anniversary of the Duke's passing with you. Thank you.
If you would like to donate by post please make cheques payable to ‘The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award’ and send for the attention of 'Living Legacy Fund', The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, 1-2 Paris Garden, London SE1 8ND.
