I need to get hounding people for sponsorship money! But now I can do it in my lovely new t-shirt...

Gearing up for the March Do It for Youth 120 mile challenge!

So... I'll be honest. I didn't do the maths before I signed up for this challenge - and I know I'm not the only one! In true DofE level of challenge, averaging 4 miles a day on top of everything else we have on is a real stretch. But when you look at what DofE does for young people in our business, and around the country, it's worth it. And it's nothing compared to what they complete over 18 months to achieve their coveted Gold award. So I am spending the month of February upping my fitness level to make sure I can complete this challenge as efficiently as possible - if I can run the 4 miles, that's going to make it much quicker and easier to fit into my schedule. And not only that, I'm really living the DofE ethos of committing to a physical goal and a healthy lifestyle. Plus the dog is loving life too!
