I'm taking part in the DofE Trek Together - Windsor sponsored walk
I'm supporting the Duke of Edinburgh's Award by taking part in DofE Trek Together, taking on a 10 mile hike around Windsor Great Park on Sat 11th July 2026. Every penny raised will help to ensure that all young people, including those facing financial barriers and who need additional support, can have the same opportuntiy to participate in the life-changing awards scheme and transform their lives. Fundraising Goals
Monday 1st Jun I will be doing a 10 mile hike on 11/07 with a team in Windsor. In preparation for every £10 donated, I will complete 2.5km as an added challenge - I’m setting myself a 19 mile / 31km challenge as the minimum to help reach my fundraising target. 💰 🏃♀️ 😰That means 10 people donating only £12.50 each

Why I am taking part
Monday 1st JunInitiatives like DofE isn’t always accessible to all young people due to financial pressures, lack of opportunity, and additional support needs. This is even more evident for families and young people from underrepresented or minoritised backgrounds. Barriers like these can be seen every day and often prevent young people from taking part in something that could impact change their lives.
Through work with Kidcare4U, I’ve seen how access to the DofE can be opened up for young people from diverse backgrounds, and the difference it makes to individuals, families and support teams too.
