I’m fundraising for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

I'm taking part in the DofE Do it 4 Youth Step Challenge walking, running or wheeling 100 miles throughout March, raising vital funds for the DofE charity more young people facing financial barriers can access the life-chanding Awards programme and transform their lives.  Please support me by sponsoring as much as you can.

My Updates

Introduction

Tuesday 10th Mar
It’s the 70th year of the Duke of Edinburgh award and, while I would normally avoid the Royals… I’ve seen how important and life changing the award can be for young people who gain skills, resilience, friendships and find out things about themselves they might not ever find out without participating.

Supporting the organisation means they can provide funding for equipment and cover the participation for those who need it like young carers or those in poverty.

I’ve signed up for 120 miles in March (100% thought it was 100) for the DofE and while I know there are many good causes raising money this month, they’ll give me a badge if I can raise £50 and it’s the closet I’ll get because I’m too old!

I’m 20 miles in. I might even run some.

Thank you to my Sponsors
